AB Systemic toxic reaction, hypotension, headache, and neurologic sequelae may all occur with obstetric regional anesthesia. When their causes are understood, these complications can often be prevented. If complications do occur, early diagnosis and appropriate treatment should achieve a satisfactory outcome.
