Regional Anesthesia in Pediatric Patients: Review of Clinical Experience

Abstract

Experience with nerve block anesthesia in more than 200 pediatric patients is briefly reviewed and judged to be safe and effective. All patients were 5 years of age or less and were treated during one year for procedures ranging from closed reduction of fractures to microneurovascular surgery.
