Abstract

A retrospective study was carried out on 368 patients, treated over a two-and-one-half-year period, to determine the relative effectiveness and complications of various approaches to block of the brachial plexus. In this series, the effectiveness of the axillary approach for surgical procedures below the elbow was greater than that of the other approaches.
