Modified Seldinger Technique for Continuous Interscalene Brachial Plexus Block

Abstract

Use of a brachial plexus catheter, permitting continuous interscalene brachial block in repair of major hand trauma, is described. Postoperative analgesia was also accomplished. The advantages of the procedure are discussed.
