Simplified Penile Block for Adult Surgery

Abstract

A simplified technique to block the penis for surgery in adults is described. A subcutaneous ring is made around the penile root, then both dorsal nerves of the penis are blocked together. Only two failures were noted using this technique in 239 operations.
